Using Cycling as a Force for Good in Greater Manchester

Tour de Manc is one of the North West's leading charity cycling events, bringing together riders of all abilities to experience some of the best roads in and around Greater Manchester.

Founded in 2016, Tour de Manc was created with a simple mission: using cycling as a force for good in Greater Manchester. Through the power of cycling, we raise funds for local charities and community projects while helping people become fitter, healthier and more confident.

We believe cycling can transform lives. Whether it's improving physical fitness, supporting mental wellbeing, overcoming personal challenges or achieving goals that once felt out of reach, every rider's journey matters. From first-time sportive riders to experienced cyclists taking on the Mad Manc, Tour de Manc is about inspiring people to be the best version of themselves.

Our four routes, Northern Quarter, Manc Challenge, Classic Manc and Mad Manc, showcase the very best of Greater Manchester's cycling roads. Supported by dedicated volunteers, fantastic feed stations and an incredible cycling community, the event provides a memorable experience for thousands of riders each year.

But Tour de Manc is about more than miles ridden and hills climbed. It's about bringing people together, supporting local causes, improving health and wellbeing, and demonstrating the positive impact that cycling can have on individuals, communities and the region as a whole.

Every year, riders, volunteers, sponsors and supporters come together to prove that cycling can make a real difference.

Ride. Challenge Yourself. Support Your Community.
